A youth was gunned down by unkown armed men within the jurisdiction of Ghouspur Police Station area of Jungan village Nihal Khan Jafrey on Saturday.
According to police, victim identified Jamaal Khan Jagirani resident of Murad Ali Jagirani was on his way to Ghouspur from his village when unkown armed persons opened fire at him which resulted to his death on the spot.
The gunmen fled after the shooting. Later local police reached and shifted the body to town hospital for autopsy. Police said that they were yet to ascertain the reason behind the murder while further investigation is under way.
However the case was registered. Meanwhile, Kashmore police claimed to have caught a proclaimed offender within the jurisdiction of Kashmore Police Station on Saturday. According to press release, Station House Officer Kashmore city Iqtadar Hussain Jatio and his team on tip off arrested a proclaim offender Jaffar. As per release he was wanted to various crime cases in different PSs.
