ISLAMABAD : Prime Minister Imran Khan has said we will hold election with the use of technology for the first time and it will be held in such a transparent manner that all will accept it.
He said this while inaugurating a mobile van of NADRA at the NADRA headquarters in Islamabad Friday.
He held that use of technology is must to avoid fraud in election. Use of technology will eliminate chances of fake ballot paper and fake vote registration. The electronic voting will reduce the incidents of stamping while sitting at homes.
We will hold 21st century polling through electronic voting machines, he underlined.
The Prime Minister said the data prepared by the NADRA will be synced with Electronic Voting Machines.
He said the use of technology will prevent any rigging and casting of fake votes.
He remarked that the real job of government is easing the life of citizens. At least 3 million Afghan citizens are living in Pakistan, he added.
