Transpoters protest over closure of lee market bus stand

Bus owners,drivers ,starters and cleaners have expressed their concern over the closure of Lee market bus stand and parked their buses in protest and demanded to higher authorities to cancel the decision.
They said this while addressing a press conference in Thatta press club on Friday.
The bus owners including Haji Haji Abdul latif Brohi, Haji Noor din Brohi,Haji Lakhano Brohi, Haji Khair Mohmmed Brohi, Ahmed Ali Jokhio and other drivers, cleaners and starters said that the Karachi administration has closed the old and historical Lee market bus stand, which was being used by them from the past 70 years and is main stand for the bus coming from Thatta, Badin,Memon Goath,Noorani,Kathor etc. They thousands of passengers were getting benefit of transport to reach their destinations on daily basis is resource of livelihood of several families.
They feared and said that they have came to know from sources that karachi administration is intended to lease this bus stand plot to non natively afghanis who are living in light house karchi and used to sell Lunda clothes as after their arrival by Russia , Najeebullah led Afghanistan troops and Mujahideen war.
They demaded to cancel the decision and restore their bus stand, otherwise they said their protesting will continue till the objective is achieved.
