ISLAMABAD: The National Highway Authority (NHA) on Friday advised people to avoid travelling on motorways in view of the sit-in by the activists of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) in Lahore. In its advisory, the NHA said that Faizpur and Babu Sabu interchanges on the Lahore-Islamabad Motorway were closed due to the fear of TLP protest. The Authority further said that motorists who wanted to use M-2 to reach their destinations had been provided the passage through Thokar Niaz Beg. It further said that the Ravi Toll Plaza could also be closed for traffic keeping in view the looming danger of protest. DNA
