PESHAWAR
The Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) has intensified its electioneering campaign to canvass people ahead of local bodies’ election in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
As local government is drawn near, the ATP has accelerated its door to door campaign to woo people for supporting party candidates in the upcoming LG polls in the province.
In this connection, the party central leaders held public gatherings in district Karak, said in a press statement isused here on Sunday.
While addressing the gathering, Muhammad Awais, the party central information secretary said his party wants to bring young and honest leadership for lead the country from the front.
He congratulated the newcomers into the party fold and assured them they will give due respect and status to them.
He asked the party workers to become ambassadors of accomplishment of Pakistan that will ensure early attainment of public authority.
A large number of people joined ATP from district Karak of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as a win of the revolutionary manifesto and strategy, says Awais Khan.
The ATP leader vowed to hold accountable all those people who were pushed towards deprivations and backwardness. He pledged to raise an effective voice on public issues inside and outside the parliament and different important forums.
He asked the youth to come forward and join this public movement. He added they will not be rested until attainment of public authority and establishment of real democracy.
Meanwhile, in another statement, the ATP Chairman Muhammad Faiq Shah has noted those people who become cause of Karachi’s problems and difficult, again want to proliferation of destruction through politics.
Faiq was talking to a different delegation of political workers and social activists here on Sunday.
The party chief asked to abstain from doing politics on Nasla Tower – which was razing down on orders of the Supreme Court.
Mr Shah demanded to provide alternation residential facility and due rights to affectees of Nasla Tower as per directive of the Apex court.
He furthermore emphasized that people should be punished for being allegedly involved in looting and dishonesty.
