PTI using govt resources in LB polls, why ECP is still silent: Hoti

Central Senior Vice President of Awami National Party Amir Haider Khan Hoti has said that ANP has first raised its voice against the use of government resources in the local body elections, but it is not known why the Election Commission is still silent.
He made the remarks while talking to media on the occasion of condolence on the demise of sister of former minister Liaquat Shabab and father of Assistant Commissioner Payukhan in Nowshera, Mian Iftikhar Hussain.
District President Secretary Jamal Khan, District General Secretary Hamid Khan and others were also present. He said that the Awami National Party (ANP) was the first to raise its voice on the use of government resources during the local body elections and to continue the development work, said Amir Haider Khan Hoti.
Government in Nowshera Zara has given full thrust and despite the orders of the Election Commission, Defense Minister Pervez Khattak, MNA Dr Imran Khattak, MPA Ibrahim Khattak are continuing the election campaign, he said. He said that government resources were being used in Nowshera and electricity poles were being provided at various places.
