Curbing street crimes
PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Inspector General of Police Moazzam Jah Ansari has said that special squad of Ababeel Police Squad will play a leading role in rooting out the elements involved in street crimes and making the historic city of Peshawar a haven of peace. He expressed these views while delivering a welcome address on the occasion of inauguration of Ababeel Police Squad at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Line Peshawar here on Wednesday. Chief Minister KP Mahmood Khan was the chief guest at the event. Senior Provincial Minister Shaukat Ali Yousafzai, Special Assistant for Information Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, Chief Secretary Shehzad Bangash, Commissioner Peshawar Riaz Mehsud and senior police officials attended the function. IGP Moazzam Jahan Ansari termed the formation of Ababeel Force as a good step and said that this force would become the capital of KP Police and meet the expectations of the government and the people.
