Pakistan Muslim League –Nawaz (PML-N) provincial spokesperson MPA Ikhtiar Wali has approached the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for action against federal minister Pervaz Khattak who has been allegedly violating the code of conduct in the local government elections in Nowsehra district.
MPA Ikhtiar Wali in its application submitted to the provincial election commission office here on Wednesday appealed to the electoral body to ensure the implementation of the code of conduct in the district Nowshera that is being violated by the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) federal minister.
In the application, the PML-N MPA has accused Pervaz Khattak, for violating the code of conduct in the ongoing campaign for local body elections, adding that the minister is blatantly campaigning for the PTI candidates.
It is pertinent to mention here that in Nowshera tehsil, Ishaq Khattak, the son of defence minister Pervez Khattak, has been fielded for the mayorship election.
