Nawaz, Fazl agree on forging contacts with allied parties of government to block passage of mini budget from parliament

PML-N Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif and PDM chairman Maulana Fazlur Rehman have made another telephonic contact and during the telephonic conversation both the leaders have agreed on stepping up contacts with the coalition partners of the government to block passage of mini budget in parliament.

Sources said the two leaders have exchanged views on overall political and economic situation of the country,

Nawaz Sharif thanked Maulana Fazlur Rehman over the decision for not resigning from the membership of assemblies.

Sources disclosed that the two leaders have forged consensus that they will continue to give tough time to government by staying in the parliament.

They discussed the strategy on blocking passage of mini budget from the National Assembly (NA).

Shahbaz Sharif has been assigned task to persuade allied parties of the government to not to support mini budget.

The two leaders while rejecting the mini budget agreed on opposing it on every forum.

Sources revealed both the leaders discussed the matter of preparations for March 23 Mengai March of PDM.

Nawaz Sharif congratulated Maulana Fazl over his party success in Local Bodies polls in KP. They have agreed on using PDM platform in effective manner in future.

Nawaz Sharif took Maulana Fazl into confidence about his meetings and contacts with different leaders.

They also agreed that no step alien to democracy and public opinion will be accepted and PDM will continue to mount pressure on government for transparent election this year.
