A robber was killed while a police constable injured in exchange of fire during a raid here on Sunday.
On a tip-off regarding presence of notorious robbers, a police team headed by SHO Shahid Rafique conducted operation in village Jhabran of Sheikhupura.
Upon sight of police, the robbers present in the area started firing at police, critically injuring Constable Abu Sufiyan and escaped the scene. The police chased the fleeing robbers which led to an encounter in which a notorious robbers Nadeem alias Deemo hailing from Lalpur Chowk Jhang Road Faisalabad was injured and expired while being shifted to hospital.
