KHYBER: Tanzeem-e-Asateza, Pakistan (Teacher Association) chief Dr Altaf Hussain has said that a uniform education system is vital for the integrity of the country and the organization is striving hard to implement Islamic education system. Speaking to media persons on his visit to Landi Kotal press club on Monday Dr Altaf Hussain said that some nongovernmental organizations are involved in conspiracy to impose an alien education system however they will never succeed in the unfair attempt. The main purpose of the association is to uphold the ideology of Pakistan in addition to creating class teaching staff so that they can produce better students who can serve and lead the nation, he added. He maintained that Tanzeem-e-Asateza, Pakistan plays its due role nationally and volunteers of the association contribute in form of their suggestions when the government compiles education policy. Dr Altaf Hussain, flanked by national and provincial leadership including Mibahuddin, Prof Fayaz,Arshad Ali and Shariefullah said that they support a single education system for both rich and poor and urged the government to formulate education policy familiar to their civilization and culture.
