JI Ameer announces nationwide sit-in against PTI govt

Ameer Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Siraj-ul-Haq on Saturday said that the constitution of Pakistan did not allow a presidential system in the country and said that his party would resist if the incumbent government attempted for such a system.
Addressing a news press conference at Markaz-e-Islami, party provincial headquarter at Peshawar, He said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has failed on all fronts, adding that JI has decided to launch anti-government protests across the country. Siraj-ul-Haq announced to hold 100 sit-ins against the PTI government and called upon the establishment to stay away from the government support.
JI Ameer said that the government was trying to hide its failure and therefore spreading news of the presidential system in the country but masses have decided to oust the government as it had failed to provide any relief to them.
Siraj-ul-Haq said that legislation pertaining to State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) made it clear that opposition parties have supported the PTI government, adding that opposition were equally responsible in the recently passed legislation about SBP bill.
He said that in the government of PTI the prices of essential commodities increased with each passing day. He accused the federal minister for causing unprecedented corruption in the country, adding that JI would launch an anti-government sit-in across the country and would try its level best to oust the incumbent government from parliament.
