Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, along with Minister of Interior Mr Mohsin Naqvi departed for Islamic Republic of Iran as part of Pakistan’s efforts to promote regional peace and stability.
The Field Marshal will focus on promoting efforts towards peaceful, lasting and comprehensive resolution of the conflict in the Middle East, said a news release issued on Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
