Anti Narcotics Force Pakistan seized 4073.2 Kgs Drugs valuing US$ 243.82 Million internationally, arrested 46 culprits including 3 women, 3 Foreign Nationals and impounded 14 vehicles while conducting 48 counter-narcotics operations throughout the country.
The seized drugs comprised 37.708 Kg Heroin, 3424.58 Kg Hashish, 602.6 Kg Opium, 0.598 Kg Amphetamine, 1.717 Kg Methamphetamine (Ice), 0.637 Kg Cocaine, 0.06 Grams Weed, 10900 x Xanax Tabs (1.400 Kg), 22200 x Clonazepam Tabs (3.900 Kg) and 3 Liters Prohibited Chemical.
ANF Balochistan recovered 2607 Kg drugs in 8 operations while arrested 14 accused and seized 4 x vehicles. The seized drugs comprised 2307 Kg Hashish, 300 Kg Opium and 2 x SMGs with 6 x magazines, 180 x rounds & a rocket launcher.
ANF Punjab recovered 240.74 Kg drugs in 13 operations while arrested 10 accused and seized 3 x vehicles. The seized drugs comprised 31.198 Kg Heroin, 163.25 Kg Hashish, 44.4 Kg Opium, 1.660 Methamphetamine (Ice) and 0.232 Kg Cocaine.
ANF KPK recovered 770.985 Kg drugs & 3 x Liters Prohibited Chemical in 11 operations while arrested 7 accused including 3 x Afghan Nationals and seized 2 x vehicles. The seized drugs comprised 3.58 Kg Heroin, 538.6 Kg Hashish, 227 Kg Opium, 0.405 Kg Cocaine and 10900 x Xanax Tabs (1.400 Kg).
ANF Sindh recovered 335.771 Kg drugs in 6 operations while arrested 8 accused including 3 x women and seized 3 x vehicles. The seized drugs comprised 1.064 Kg Heroine, 334.65 Kg Hashish and 0.057 Kg Methamphetamine (Ice).
ANF North recovered 118.704 Kg drugs in 10 operations, arrested 7 accused and seized 2 x vehicles. The seized drugs comprised 1.866 Kg Heroin, 81.08 Kg Hashish, 31.200 Kg Opium, 0.598 Kg Amphetamine, 22200 x Clonazepam Tabs (3.900 Kg) and 0.06 Kg Weed.
All cases have been registered at respective ANF Police Stations under CNS Act 1997 and further investigations are under process.
