ISLAMABAD: The Deputy Commissioner Dera Ismail Khan has stopped Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) leader and Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman to hold public gatherings in the city to ensure the implementation of the code of conduct for Local Government elections to be held on February 13. According to the ECP sources, the district administration conveyed the decision to the JUI-F on its application for permission to hold the public meetings at GPO Chowk to Fawara Chowk on February 7 and CPEC Interchange on February 5.
