Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said Pakistan desires peaceful relations with all neighboring countries including India.
“The just and equitable resolution of Kashmir issue is must for the security and durable peace in South Asia”, this was said by Shah Mehmood Qureshi in a letter addressed to UN Security Council President and Secretary General on the occasion of Kashmir solidarity day here Saturday.
He has informed them about the grave situation in illegally occupied Kashmir by India.
He highlighted in the letter the recent wave of human rights violations, extra judicial killings and killings in fake encounters.
It was said in the letter that August 05 2019 illegal and unilateral steps taken by India in Occupied Kashmir are flagrant violation of international laws, UN manifesto, 4th Geneva convention and UN security council resolutions.
The onus lies on India to create conducive environment for establishment of meaningful and result oriented relations , he urged.
