Islamabad: A dacoit was killed and another was injured in an exchange of fire during an alleged police encounter in Islamabad. The robber was involved in dozens of gang robberies. The slain dacoit was identified as Pervez and the injured was identified as Muhammad Asif. The slain dacoit was involved in 24 serious crimes including murder and attempted murder and different robberies in Rawalpindi. It has revealed that injured dacoit Muhammad Asif was involved in 3 incidents of robbery. It has also been disclosed that robber gang has remained involved in several recent robberies in Islamabad.
