PESHAWAR
Police claimed to have arrested a ring leader of inter-districts robbery gang in the limits of Sharqi Police Station here on Saturday.
SHO Sharqi Police Station in a statement told reporters that an inter-district burglary gang has been held who was allegedly involved in millions of rupees same.
Police claimed that the arrested accused hails from neighboring Afghanistan.
A vehicle used in the incident have also been recovered and the accused identified other accomplices during interrogation for whose arrest a special team has been formed, police added.
In order to trace the gang, SHO Sharqi Police Station Ehsanullah interrogated several criminals and suspects during the interrogation.
Police finally traced the main accused Achakzai alias Javed son of Mohammad Zai was arrested.
