Chief Traffic Officer Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat on Saturday visited all sectors of the city to review the traffic system in Peshawar.
The Chief Traffic Officer reviewed the presence of wardens and personnel at various points and obtained information from the citizens about the problems related to the traffic system.
On this occasion, he appreciated and directed the traffic authorities to further improve the performance so that the citizens do not face any difficulty while traveling.
Abbas Majeed said that the traffic authorities should continue their operations against the encroachment mafia and eliminate temporary and permanent encroachments on sidewalks across the city.
So that pedestrians would not face any difficulties along with the flow of traffic. Traffic police directed DSP Ring Road to discourage those who park their freight vehicles on the side of the road on Ring Road Instruct transporters to refrain from parking their vehicles on the Ring Road.
Legal action would be taken against those who violates traffic rules he added. He said that bargain owners, mechanics and owners of goods bases should cooperate with City Traffic Police Peshawar.
Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat said that all the capabilities should be used to ensure the flow of traffic in the city and no negligence will be tolerated in this regard.
