KARACHI
Closed Circuit Television Camera (CCTV) footages of suspects involved in the murder of journalist Athar Mateen have been obtained by the prosecuting teams, it emerged Saturday. Media reports claimed Saturday that both the suspects were involved in many bike-snatching bids. Four different footages of the same two-member group have been acquired by law enforcement agencies, media report revealed.
Police sources said that all four incidents took place in North Nazimabad, Garden and New Karachi areas.
Important revelations have also been made regarding the appearances of suspects. One of them wears helmet during heist attempts while the other uses cap.
It is pertinent to mention here that same gang had escaped into Park Colony area few days ago after dropping robbed motorbike.
