KARACHI: Sindh’s Information Minister Saeed Ghani said Friday that he was ‘surprised’ to know about Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) long march towards Sindh CM house, adding that he was keen to know what PTI leadership would tell its supporters during the long march. Talking to media in Karachi, the provincial minister said that no one had thought government would take country to the ‘verge of destruction’. He said petroleum prices were getting hiked every other day, while country was facing fertilizers’ shortage as well. Saeed Ghani said prices of medicines had gone out of laymen’s buying power. “Crimes take place in every corner of the country. Maligning Karachi is not the right approach” he added. Online
On the other hand, preparations for Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) long march towards Islamabad are in full swing. Abundant party flags and posters of PPP can be seen on Karachi roads and streets. Party leadership and workers are proactively working political meetings and rallies are taking place every other evening.
