Kamyab Jawan Young Talent Hunt Program from March 06

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) after hosting the men’s wrestling event of the Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Talent Hunt Youth Sports League will be commencing from March 7 at different venues across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under the aegis of Directorate of Sports University of Peshawar.
Besides wrestling trials for the Wrestling League in connection with the Kamyab Jawan Program at the University of Peshawar, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan under its directorate of sports.
Both the universities have announced trials schedules for the selection of regional teams.
Director General Sports Bahra –e-Karam said that open trials would be held for both the events in which students from schools, colleges and universities besides youth between the ages of 15 to 25 could participate.
He said that the provincial universities and educational institutions have been divided into six groups for the trials. The trials in Peshawar will be held on March 7. Director General Sports Khalid Khan will be the special guest. Trials will be held at Abdul Wali Khan University in Mardan on March 11. Minister of State Ali Hamad Khan and Deputy Commissioner Habibullah Arif will be the special guests.
Trials will be held on March 15 at Government Post Graduate College Jahanzeb in Swat. National Assembly Member Dr Haider Ali Khan, Special Assistant to Information Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif and Deputy Commissioner Junaid Khan will be the special guests.
He said that the trials of the Hazara region would be held on March 19 at the Regional Sports Office. Member National Assembly Ali Khan Jadoon and Deputy Commissioner Nadeem Nasir would be the special guests.
Trials of Dera Ismail Khan Region will be held on March 24 at Gomal University. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Iftikhar will be the chief guest. The trials of the Kohat region will be held on March 26 at Kohat University. Minister of State Shehryar Afridi and Deputy Commissioner Roshan Mehsud will be the special guests.
However, the services of the concerned University and District Officers of Sports Department will also be available. The schedule of the competitions will be announced later in which kits and other necessary equipment will be provided to the participating players. The winners of the Provincial Round will represent Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at the national and international levels.
