SSP Operations Haroon Rashid on Thursday visited Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC) Peshawar to inquire about the health of police cop Talawat Shah who thwarted attack on the polio team in the limits of Sarband Police Station.
It is to note here that policeman Tilawat Shah promptly action saved the lives of polio vaccination team and got injured. According to police after the incident he was rushed to hospital for treatment. Hospital authorities said that the health condition of the police was out of danger.
On the other hand, a heavy contingent of police has reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported.
Police claimed to have launched a comprehensive operation in the area.
