Islamabad (Online): Earthquake tremors were felt in Islamabad and adjoining areas causing panic among the people. .
According to the Met Department, the earthquake measuring 5.1 magnitude on the Richter scale with focal depth 10 Kilometres and epicenter was China’s Sichuan area, jolted Islamabad and adjourning areas early Wednesday morning at 08:22am.
Panic and fear spread among the residents, hence, the locals evacuated their residences, buildings and started reciting Kalma Tayyaba. However, no loss of life or damage of property has been reported till the filing of this report.
