PQA, Turkish shipyard sign pact to construct tug boat

ISLAMABAD: The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) and Miss Med Marine Shipyard Turkey has signed a contract for supply and construction of one conventional twin-screw buoy tender (tug boat) at the tender cost of $9.149 million. The agreement was signed on Tuesday at the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, said a press statement. The contract signing was witnessed by the Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Haider Zaidi, the Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan Ihsan Kamal, and other officers of Maritime Affairs as well as the PQA.
