GIK Institute, KE inks MoU for conducting research

SWABI: Ghulam Ishaq Khan (GIK) Institute of Engineering Sciences and Karachi Electric (KE) Thursday singed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to utilize mutual experiences for cooperation and conducting research in various fields engineering technology. The MoU signing ceremony among others was attended by Rector GIT Institute, Dr. Fazal Ahmad, Dr. Athar Usama of GIK, students and faculty members. Addressing the ceremony, Dr. Usama said that MoU was meant to take benefits from mutual experiences and jointly work for conducting research in various fields of engineering. APP
He said that KE is also working in collaboration with various leading institutes of the country to conduct research work for mutual benefit and improve capacity building of students.
He also stressed upon authorities to invest for creating atmosphere for innovative advancement besides devising strategy to cater needs of industrial sector by training and capacity building of students.
A detailed presentation on challenges of innovations were also given in start of the MoU ceremony.
