PESHAWAR: Police claimed to have busted the ring leader of a gang involved in motorcycle theft, said a handout According to details, the Pandho Police Station have traced and held Shaheen allegedly involved in motorcycle theft in different localities of the provincial capital. Shaheen would sell motorcycles at exorbitant prices after stealing them from Muslim Town and other adjoining areas of Peshawar, police said. Police investigation revealed that the accused was also an expert allegedly in changing engine chassis numbers as well as forging documents. During the operation, police also recovered nine-motorcycle from the possession of the accused. SP City Atiq Shah has said that the real owner one of the motorcycles identified and key handed him over. SP City said that the arrested accused is a resident of Akhoonabad Gujrabad, adding that Shaheen was associated with an organized gang and confessed to several incidents during the preliminary investigation.
