FIA arrests Hawala, foreign currency dealer in Malakand

Peshawar: The Commercial Banking Circle (CBC) of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Wednesday arrested a person in Battkhela of Malakand division allegedly involved in foreign currencies dealing unlawfully and Hawala trading worth millions of rupees. FIA team comprising Saima Nadeem and Iftikhar arrested Johar Hussain from Malakand. The FIA investigation revealed that the accuse was involved in foreign various foreign currencies, including US dollars, Canadian dollars, Saudi Riyal, Chinese Yuan, Japanese Yen, Qatari Riyal, Afghani Rupee and other currencies. The FIA personnel, including staff of the Commercial Banking Circle, have been was in hunt for the accuse. However, after the arrest of Johar Hussain it come to the light that another person was backing the overall business of foreign currency exchange. The arrested accuse had no license for the foreign currency business. The FIA had initiated the investigation and extended hunt for other accused in the case. Haqnawaz Shinwari
