The DIG (Operations), DIG (HQs), AIG (Staff) and other senior officers were also with him. On this occasion, IG Inam Ghani said that the National Highways and Motorways Police committed to provide the best medical facilities to the officers and employees.
He said that the appropriate medical treatment is the basic right of every officer and employee. In order to provide such medical facilities a state of the art medical dispensary has been equipped with the latest Pathological and medical equipments has been set up alongwith the well experienced medical staff under the supervision of a specialist doctor.
A state-of-the-art laboratory has also been set up in this dispensary under the supervision of a specialist pathologist. Where tests can be performed on these machines to diagnose different types of disease. In addition, basic medicines will also be available at the dispensary.
The dispensary will remain open 24 hours a day to provide medical facilities to the officers and employees so that immediate medical aid can be provided in case of any emergency. On the occasion, he said that dispensaries would soon be set up in all major cities of Pakistan for the treatment of officers and employees of National Highways and Motorways Police and their families.
He further said that the doctors and paramedical staff of the dispensary should work hard, diligently and enthusiastically to ensure the treatment of the patients coming to the dispensary for treatment.
All resources will be utilized to ensure the provision of quality, best medical facilities to the officers and employees.
