One person was killed while his four brothers got injured over a minor quarrel in the limits of Saddar police station during the Iftari, police and local sources said. Sources added that Nowsherawan son of Hamza Khan resident of Gurdas Kaly told police that he along with his family members were sitting for Iftari in his house.
He added that during that time his neighbor Abdul Wahab along with his sons Idress and Younas were removing bricks from the wall of his house. He told police that he along with his brother Bakhat-e-Rawan, Safdar, Akbar Ali and Shoaib reached there to stop them from removing the bricks. He added that during that time Abdul Wahad and his sons Younas and Idress allegedly started firing on them and also hit them with knives.
As a result, Bakhat-e-Rawan died on the spot while he and Safdar, Akbar Ali and Shoaib got injured. The injured were shifted to district headquarter (DHQ) hospital. Police registered a case against the accused under sections 320,324 and 34 and started investigations.
