Resolution condemning Quran burning incident in Sweden submitted in KP Assembly

A number of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly lawmakers on Monday submitted a resolution to condemn the incident of Quran burning in Sweden.
The resolution was jointly submitted by Jamat-e-Islami (JI) MPA and its party parliamentary leader Inayatullah Khan, Haji Sirajuddin Khan, a member of the provincial assembly from Bajaur, and Humaira Khatun, a female member, protested against the burning Qurran by a Swedish politician.
The resolution recommend that after the burning of the Quran by an extremist politician in Sweden, the politician named Rasmussen Ploden was visiting different parts of Sweden and running a vicious campaign to burn the Quran.
The incident has shocked the Muslims not only in Sweden but also in Europe and around the world. The text of the resolution said that this shameful act of the accursed politician should be immediately summoned by the Swedish Ambassador to Pakistan and a strong protest should be recorded against this provocative act and voice should be raised in international forums against this tragic incident.
The resolution said that according to media reports, the Swedish government’s extremist group Hardline, under the leadership of the accursed Danish politician of Swedish descent, Rasmus Pluden, had made a shameful move to burn copies of the Koran in different parts of the country during the holy month of Ramadan.
His actions have sparked a wave of outrage among Muslims across Europe and around the world, including in Sweden, and a series of riots and demonstrations are taking place in Sweden.
“It is also a serious violation of the Charter of the United Nations. It is a shameful act to cultivate a culture of Islam against which the House of Representatives of the zealous Muslims of K P and the minorities living in the province strongly condemns the heinous act of burning the Holy Quran in Sweden through this resolution,” it stated.
Recommends that this legendary move Therefore, the government of Pakistan should immediately summon the Swedish ambassador to record a strong protest and refer to other international forums, including the United Nations, so that the sentiments of billions of Muslims around the world, including Pakistan, can be fully reflected.
