German Ambassador to Pakistam Mr. Bernhard Schulzig visited Center fir speech and Hearing Mardan and went round different classes of the center. Founder of the center Farooq Khan Toru, MNA Shaheen Saifullah Toru, directors Mrs. Farooq Toru and Anwar Khan were also present on the occasion.
The German Ambassador visited various departments of the institution and met with students.
Addressing the function held on this occasion, Mrs. Farooq Khan Toru and Anwar Khan gave a detailed briefing on the performance of the institution and said that insha-Allah the institution will soon be given the status of a college and college level classes will be started in it.
Speaking on the occasion, the German Ambassador appreciated the performance of the organization and said that the German government would play a vital role in the development of the institution and the provision of facilities to children.
Hearing-impaired children are an important part of the society and we must all work together to make them useful citizens of the society, he further said adding that by giving better education and training to the children, their personality can be improved.
He said that children and school administration in Mardan would be fully encouraged. He said that the institution and children should not consider themselves alone. The guest recorded his thoughts in the visitors book of the organization and paid tribute to the management.
