The match started on a slow note as none of the team could make any worthwhile moves as a result the first and second quarters went without score. However, there were some individual moves but the forwards failed to score any goal.
It was the third quarter when right winger Aamir Sohail travelled past three defenders and zoomed quickly toward the rival goal-post. By reaching in the danger zone, Aamir Sohail netted a fine goal to make the tally 1-0 for Kakakhail Club Swabi.
After taking the lead Kakakhail club forwards put in more pressure but at the end of the third quarter-play Kakakhail Club was leading by 1-0. In the meantime, Young Stars, after conceding a goal, also made some rallies of attacks but their forwards failed to score any goal due to poor handling of the ball, especially in the danger zone.
It was the fourth and decisive quarter in which Kakakhail club forwards made a combined attack through center-half Absar Khan. Absar gave a free ball to center forward Mohib Ullah who did nothing wrong in slamming in a beautiful goal from the top of the D circle.
