PESHAWAR
SP Rural Nowsherawan Ali has said that all available resources were being utilized for maintaining law and order situation in the provincial capital, adding that protection of minority communities has been given top priority.
He made these remarks while speaking to a delegation of scholars and representatives of the minority community which included leaders of Sikh and Christian communities.
During the meeting, the delegation expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made for the protection of the minority community and appreciated the role of the police in maintaining law and order, protection of minorities.
On this occasion the leading scholars stressed on the need for cooperation between different religions for the establishment of a peaceful and ideal society and assured all kinds of cooperation in this regard.
SP Rural Nowsherwan assured the delegation that all preparations pertaining to security arrangements for the minority section have been done, adding that all resources would be utilized to provide security to Sikh, Christian and other minority sections of the society.
