Mayor Kohat Qari Sher Zaman highly appreciated the performance of Water and Sanitation Services Company Kohat (WSSCK) and expressed complete satisfaction over the pace of ongoing projects of the company and its initiatives for provision of best public service delivery.
According to the details, a delegation led by Mayor Kohat Qari Sher Zaman paid a visit to WSCC Kohat office here on Friday and held a meeting with the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Arif Rauf on the occasion.
Deputy Manager Tahir Hafif and Deputy General Manager Mian Mohsin Gul, during the meeting briefed the delegation about services jurisdiction of the WSSCK, capacity/strength and present challenges, along with new projects of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cities Improvement Project (KPCIP).
The notable members of the delegation led by Mayor Kohat Qari Sher Zaman enlightened the CEO Arif Rauf in detail about inhabitants’ problems regarding water supply and cleanliness.
On which, the CEO Arif Rauf completely assured the visiting delegation that they would take all possible steps to resolve the issues on priority grounds.
The CEO informed the cleanliness of the old slaughter house and old Laari Adda [public transport stand] was the responsibility of Tehsil Municipal Officer (TMO) Kohat.
Members of the delegation thanked the administration of WSSCK for giving detailed briefings about the company services and projects and gave full assurance of any kind of cooperation.
Participants of the meeting agreed to work jointly in future for the development of the city of Kohat.
