Unidentified men attack polio team in Tang Kali area of Datta Khel Tehsil of North Waziristan Tribal District.
As a result, two policemen and a polio worker were martyred on the security of the polio team.
Among the martyred personnel, the funeral prayers of soldier Din Shahid and soldier Razaullah were offered in the police line with state honors.
Funeral prayers were also attended by GOC Seven Division Major General Naeem Ikhtar, Deputy Commissioner North Waziristan Shahid Ali Khan, SP Investigation Muhammad Zaman, Circle SDPOs, SHOs and other police officers besides relatives high official.
On this occasion, salutations were offered to the martyrs and flower sheets were laid on their corpses and pray was offered for their high ranks.
After the funeral prayers, the bodies of the martyrs were sent to their native villages where the funeral prayers and burial of the martyrs will be held at the regional level.
Major General GOC Seven Division encouraged the families of the martyrs and assured that the blood of the martyrs would not go in vain.
The culprits involved in the incident will be exposed soon and a logical conclusion will be reached. Police launched a search operation in the area after the incident.
