Central general secretary of All Pakistan Clerks Association (Apca), Aurangzeb Kashmiri on Wednesday strongly criticized the provincial government for pension deduction and approval of the law to give pension to one of the spouses.
“Provincial government should deduct the expenses of the cabinet and members of the provincial assembly”, he added. He expressed these views while talking to the media.
Aurangzeb Kashmiri added that the present government is behind the ruin of the employees and wants to abolish the pensions of the government employees through various maneuvers.
He argued that the present provincial government has turned government employees and institutions into laboratories and in the cycle of making government institutions profitable, they have been led to loss and destruction.
He added that the infliction makes life indigestible of the government employees while the government has also abolished medical and convention allowances and included medical allowances in the health card.
He argued that instead of giving relief to government employees the government has deprived the government employees from pensions and other facilities.
He added that the provincial minister and members of provincial assembly have increased their salaries and other allowances while they are abolishing the pension and other allowances of government employees which is great cruelty.
Aurangzeb Kashmiri added that millions of government employees from scale 1 to scale 22 across the province did not accept this decision of the provincial government.
He added that the government employees have staged protest rallies before the Eid-ul-Azha and after Eid they will again start their protest rallies which will be continued till the government does not accept their demands.
He added that if the provincial government did not fulfil their demands then they would be compelled to stage a sit-in outside PTI chairman Imran Khan house Bani Gala at Islamabad and the sit-in will continue till the demands aren’t approved.
