KTH provides emergency services to 9,327 patients during Eid-ul-Azha

The Khyber Teaching Hospital provided medical facilities to the patients 24 hours a day during Eid-ul-Azha holidays.
According to handout issued by the hospital media section, 33 patients of Oral and Maxillofacial emergencies were attended by Maxillofacial Unit Khyber College of Dentistry, during Eid holidays.
According to statistics, from July 8 to July 12, 2022, about 9,327 patients were provided emergency medical services.
In which most of the patients were sent home after provided basic medical facilities and about 488 patients were admitted in different wards of the hospital.
435 injured in animal collisions, knives cut and other incident were brought to the hospital who were sent to home after rendering first aid.
On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, overeating patients were also brought to the hospital in which more than 300 overeating and stomach patients were sent home after giving first aid in the emergency department of the hospital.
Hospital Director Dr Muhammad Zafar Afridi had held a meeting with all the managerial staff before the Eid holidays in which teams were formed to ensure all the services of the hospital to fruition during the Eid holidays.
He appreciated all the staff on duty in the public service during Eid days including doctors, nurses, paramedics, class four and other administration staff.
