PESHAWAR: The Khyber Medical University (KMU) and Blue Veins have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance mutual cooperation and research on transgender people health and wellbeing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Blue Veins is a non-governmental organization working on transgender, children, and women rights in KP. The MoU was signed by KMU Vice-Chancellor Dr Zia-ul-Haq and Blue Veins organization’s Program Manager Qamar Naseem here on Wednesday. Both parties have entered into the MoU on the terms of exchange and training of scientific and technical personnel for teaching, research, and development in the field of transgender health and wellbeing pertaining to the interest of both parties, Joint or cooperated scientific research and policy development programs in the selected areas of mutual interest.
