Islamabad: On the instructions of Chairman National Highway Authority Captain (R) Muhammad Khurram Agha, the crater caused by heavy rains near Soan Bridge on Rawalpindi GT Road has been filled. NHA has completed the repair work, so now the traffic is flowing at the affected place near Soan Bridge. It clarified that the maintenance staff of the National Highway Authority across the country is always ready for repair work on its entire network. Due to heavy rains, NHA has taken measures to ensure immediate repair affected portion of the road. During rainy season to ensure traffic flow is the primary responsibility of NHA. In order to deal with such a situation and repair the affected roads in time, active teams of National Highway Authority are present in different areas to review their entire network. Online
