Acting Governor-KP condemns security forces atrocities in India-Occupied Kashmir

The Acting Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday said India is stripping the identity of Kashmiri Muslim and changed the demography of the majority Muslim population in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir on August 5, 2019.
In a statement issued by the Governor House Peshawar, Mashtaq Ahmed Ghani in his message on the occasion of Kashmir Exploitation Day condemned the Indian forces atrocities in Kashmir.
“The Modi government changed the legal status of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Not only exploited occupied Kashmir, but started a new era of cruelty and brutality on the oppressed Kashmiri people,” he stated.
Today, the people and the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa observe August 5 as “Kashmir Exploitation Day” to raise their voice against the illegal revocation of special status of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The Pakistani nation stands with the oppressed Kashmiri people and will continue to provide moral and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people on all fronts.
I want to tell the international community that on August 5, the Indian government changed the special constitutional status of Occupied Kashmir, the worst curfew and the siege of the Indian army was enough to show the malicious intentions of India for the peace of the region, Mushtaq Ghani added.
Acting Governor KP urged the international community to take notice of the Indian brutality and open violation of the United Nations’ Security Council resolutions related to Occupied Kashmir.
He said that It was a tough test for international human rights institutions and also a moment of concern for the international community.
“On behalf of the people and government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, I assure the oppressed Kashmiri brothers that they should not consider themselves alone in their struggle for freedom,” he added.
The Muslims of occupied Kashmir will be successful in getting the right of self-determination and independence, he once again appealed to the world to play their practical role in liberating the Kashmiri people from the usurpation of India.
