ISLAMABAD
Amidst massive slash down in oil prices at the global market, government is expected to reduce petroleum products’ prices by 15 rupees per liter, it emerged.
According to sources, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) is currently working for reduction in prices. Sources further revealed that the levy imposed on petroleum prices can be reduced to maximum limit to relieve masses. Petrol’s price can be reduced up to 12 rupees per liter while Diesel’s per liter price can be reduced up to 15 rupees.
OGRA will forward final summary to the Finance Ministry by August 13, while the new prices will be implicated by August 15.
