KP-HCC launches grand operations against quackery

PESHAWAR: KP Health Care Commission has launched a grand operation in the province against quackery and inspected various health care facilities in district Nowshera, said handout. The commission has constituted six inspection teams consisting of 13 field officers from all the zonal offices in the province to carry out anti-quackery campaigns in the province. In this connection, it has inspected various health care facilities in the district Nowshera on 15th, 16th & 17th August, 2022. The inspection teams have so far sealed around 69 health care units due to different malpractices, unhygienic conditions, absence of qualified staff, recovery of expired kits/reagents/dental cartridges and lack of proper waste disposal management system. KP Health Care Commission in a statement said that 11 show cause notices were also issued to various health care facilities due to non-compliance. Our Correspondent
