Relief works have begun after torrential rain created havoc here in different areas of subdivision Landi Kotal.
Since the last day in heavy downpour one youth died and several others got injured in roofs and walls collapse incidents took place here in Sadu Khel, Loy -Shelman Kam- Shelman, Sultan Khal, Bazaar Zakha Khel villages of Landi Kotal.
Links roads w ere also washed away by the flood fleshes that disconnected remote areas with main highways.
On the direction of Deputy Commissioner, Khyber, Assistant Commissioner, Landi Kotal Irshad Mohmand visited various localities and inspected the property loss done by the rain.
He gave away tents and other necessary commodities to the effected families and assured them that their cases have been sent to the Provincial Management Disaster Authority (PDMA) for financial support and soon it will be approved and will provided to them.
The government is welfare of the miseries of the rain affectees and will leave no stone unturned to work for the welfare of them, he remarked.
