Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) chairman Muhammad Faiq Shah has urged members of legal fraternity and youth to come forward for law abiding, justice and public movement/struggle.
He assured his party will fully support them at every level.
Faiq was talking to a delegation of lawyers and youth here on Sunday. Nazakat Hussain Abbasi Advocate is leading the delegation of the legal fraternity.
He said ATP ideology is to provide justice and authority to people, for which lawyers and youth can play an important role, he added.
Shah, on the occasion announced the party will launch an awareness campaign dubbed “Justice at People Doorstep’ in all four federating units, including Gilgit Baltistan (GB) and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
The campaign aims to create awareness about law abiding and justice, he added.
He emphasized if the educated and intellectual people would play their due role then rulers cannot carry out exploitation of anyone.
Hence, he noted the attitude of law is for the other, justice for the properties, demanding its immediate abolishment.
The ATP chairman said justice can make possible economic prosperity, development/ progress and strengthening of Pakistan.
He asserted it is the prime obligation of the youth that they should come forward for the country.
The zeal, which had shown during ‘Pakistan Movement’ [Tehreek e Pakistan], the same zest is desperately needed currently to overcome the present crisis situation, Shah stressed.
The ATP chairman noticed a mafia has grabbed resources and power from Khyber to Karachi and Gilgit Baltistan to Azad Kashmir as they are deceiving people by changing their faces again and again.
Faiq went on to say everyone is in power but their incompetence has plunged country in storms, inflation and chaos.
He continued: “Whether dictators or politicians, only one attitude is being carried forward for the last 75 years,”
He added they (politicians) have failed to improve the living standard of the common man.
Shah remarked the devastating floods and economic turmoil could be prevented today, if the small dams and concrete system existed in the country.
The ATP chief noted Pakistan has been blessed with abundant rich natural resources and abilities.
However, he said the authorities and power are in the clutches of elites, which need to be transferred to people, it’s a true and real democracy and justice.
