Newly appointed SP Cantt Muhammad Junaid Kharl on Saturday visited Sarband Police Station and two police checkposts to review security arrangements and directed officers to remain vigilant against suspicious activities while ensuring courteous public dealing.
During the visit, the SP inspected Sarband Police Station, Bara Qadeem Police Checkpost and Sarband Police Checkpost. He was accompanied by DSP Pishtakhara Circle Umar Afridi and SHO Sarband Imran Khan.
Mr Kharl received a briefing from police officials on security arrangements, operational preparedness and the resources available at the police station and checkposts.
He inspected the CCTV surveillance system, lock-up, malkhana (police store), and overall internal and external security measures. He also reviewed official records, government-issued weapons and ammunition, and residential barracks for police personnel.
The SP directed officers to utilise all available resources to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property.
He also instructed police personnel to maintain strict vigilance over suspicious individuals and activities and emphasised the importance of treating members of the public with courtesy to strengthen trust and cooperation between the police and the community.
