Teachers community in subdivision Landi Kotal demanded of the concerned authorities to pay them their payment for the services they rendered at the National Socioeconomic Registry (NSER) being conducted here in recent months.
President Tanzeeme Asteza(teachers union) ,Landi Kotal Shareef Ullah Afridi said that besides imparting knowledge to the new generation, the educators also executed duties in various national interest campaigns and subways including census, election etc.but ironically their services had never been honored and always they had been disgraced on pretext of unavailability of funds.
He maintained that in NSER and voter correction surways, the teachers travelled for several miles to perform their assigned duties in the best way, however no compensation for their duties had been paid to them so far.
“Delay in payment for their services equllent to deny it,” he added and said that the unserious attitude of the concerned authorities dishearten the teacher community.
The Union condemned the delay tactics and demanded of the authorities to pay the teachers for their services, they delivered for the national cause.
