Inter-Varsity Boys-Girls Sports Festival will be held in Peshawar next month

The inter-varsity boys’ girls’ sports festival will be held next month in Peshawar. Preparations for the festival have been started. This was stated by director sports Operations, Azizullah Jan, while talking to media.
Deputy Director Operations Sports Jamshed Baloch, Director Sports Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan Dr. Farooq Hussain, Director Sports Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Maria Samin, Director Sports Islamia College University Ali Hoti, Director Sports Bacha Khan University Shabana Khattak, AD sports Peshawar university Muhammad Sajjad and other personalities were present.
In the light of the special instructions of Provincial Sports Minister Muhammad Atif Khan, Secretary Sports Tahir Orkazai, inter-varsity competitions would be organized under the supervision of DG Sports Khalid Mehmood with the support of Higher Education Department, Deputy Director of Sports Operations Jamshed Baloch said while talking to the media.
He said that boys would participate in volleyball-cricket and football and girls’ in volleyball-cricket and badminton competition which will be held in Gym Khana Cricket Ground, Islamia College Cricket Ground, Shama Cricket Ground, Shah Alam Cricket Ground, Volleyball matches will be held at Islamia College University, Peshawar University, PSB Gymnasium, Football matches will be held at Tahamas Football Ground, Peshawar Sports Complex, while women’s matches will be held at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Peshawar Sports Complex, Bacha Khan University, Charsadda, Peshawar University, Abdul Wali University, Mardan and Swabi Sports Complex.
He added that various organizing. Committees have been formed under the leadership of Peshawar University Director Sports Bahr Karam and Director Sports Ms. Rashida Ghaznavi, in which the Sports Directors of all the universities have been included .
The final dates of these competitions will be announced by the Provincial Sports Minister Mohammad Atif Khan, Provincial Minister Higher Education Mohammad Kamran Bangash, Secretary Sports Tahir Orkazai at the official opening ceremony at the Peshawar Sports Complex.
