KARACHI: Mysterious murder plot of Majida Abbasi, a student of Sindh University’s Institute of Art and Design Fine Arts on Monday was exposed as police claimed that she was allegedly killed by her husband Zahid Sulangi. According to details, Majida’s tortured body was recovered from Kotri’s Nooriabad area earlier, which was buried even without her postmortem, it emerged. Now the police during investigations found out that victim’s husband Zahid Sulangi was allegedly the main culprit behind the crime, as he had tortured Majida to death over domestic dispute. Later, the suspect in collaboration with police officials did not let the due process be followed during investigations and Majida was buried without her postmortem. However, the higher police authorities have suspended Assistant Sub-inspector (ASI) Ghulam Sarwar Qureshi and other police officials for allegedly showing professional negligence and a First Information Report (FIR) has also been launched against them.
