PESHAWAR
Department of Education, KP has said that the school players of KP would take active part in various age groups tournaments to be organized by Pakistan Cricket Board at different times.
This was stated by Assistant Director Sports of KP School Iftikhar Khan Shamazu said that the Elementary Secondary Education Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would field teams in different age groups officially.
He said for preparing good teams would be selected out of the schools across KP and soon a trials in this connection would be announced by inviting players for the said trials. He said the decision in this connection has been taken in a recently held meeting presided over by the Provincial Minister of Education Sharam Khan Tarakai. Iftikhar Khan Shamuzai said that all schools have been instructed to form teams immediately and PCB in this connection would be contacted to provide best facilities besides enrolling our teams in different age groups.
Since there is great talent in many boys at the school level, we need to work hard to bring it to the forefront. It is the responsibility of the ADOs to organize tournaments for the school kids so that good talent should be brought to the limelight.
